Availability:

We all have someone who looms large in our minds and lives. Someone who made a positive impact. For our brewer it was his grandmother Virginia Wise. Though small in stature she was spunky, full of life, song and family AND grew the best raspberries you might ever taste! This beer is named for her. Virginia Weisse: Raspberry Berliner Weisse is a historical style of beer which is crafted on a base of 50% wheat malt. Hop Bitterness is non-existent! This is a sour ale and the sourness is pronounced but not overwhelming. We finished off our version with raspberry puree for a light, tart, glass of deliciousness. Prost!

Food Pairing:

The tart, fruity character of this beer pairs beautifully with light, fresh dishes. Consider pairing it with salads featuring feta or goat cheese, or even tangy, citrus-based ceviches. It's also a great complement to creamy desserts or pastries.
