2:30 - 4:30 pm Toast to the Fallen:

The Toast to the Fallen is a ceremony honoring Veterans that have given the ultimate for the Freedom of America and the Freedom that we all enjoy.

Originally started on Memorial Day in 2014, by a pissed off veteran and National President of a Veterans Motorcycle Club – the Men of War MC, who was tired of hearing advertisements for a free hot dog or $100 off a mattress purchase on Memorial Day Weekend and having people say “Thank you for your service”.. on Memorial Day.

Memorial Day is the day that honors the Fallen. Don’t thank the living – Honor the Fallen

The concept is simple..

It is said a person dies twice:

Once, when their natural body gives way and they pass.

The second is when that persons name is no longer spoken, no longer remembered.

The ceremony is simple, yet moving and respectful.

We honor and remember their names by making a dogtag and hanging it on a Combat Cross, then calling out their name with a Toast to the Fallen – Til Valhalla – the place where warriors go to be with their brothers.

4:30 pm - Musical Entertainment

Featuring:

The Blueridge Bandits

Uncle Drew and the Scoundrels
